Things I learned today at work.
- When you feel a drop of rain, it usually means more is coming.
- Even if your manager says “seat people till it pours” dont listen.
- Having it pour when you work outside at a resturant isnt fun.
- Having to grab all of the umbrellas, heard people inside, and grabbing the tables that were flipping over, was even less fun.
- Just because it rains, it doesn’t mean you get off.
- People are really really cranky and impatient when they don’t get their tables at EXACTLY 6:30
- Never talk to the creepy mexican co-worker.
- When you have nothing to do, sit in the busing station and eat whatever is around
- The whole staff complains about people who are a pain in the ass.
- “I’m cut” if a foreign statement to anyone who doesn’t work at danfords.
- Breaking things is a trend
- Squeegeeing the deck, after a monsoon, and drying everything and putting all the umbrellas up and replacing everything with 4 people was the least fun.
- Hostess’s occasionally have to bus tables when the manager decides to put the only busboy that was outside, inside.
- The manager has several names.
- Most of the bartenders are cute
- Everyone is related to someone else who works there somehow
- People think I am 19
- Karaoke is popular when we have live singers
- It is really conveinent having friends who work at the frigate.
- Everyone there is a character, they dance also, and its a lot of fun!
Yes, i learned a lot at work today. and im also on to four days a week. and i also discovered that Alex, Annie, Wendy, Haley and I all work within about 15 feet of each other…weird? And Richard taught me how to get rid of the mexican co-worker. just say you have a boyfriend simple as that. Except the weird thing the mexican co worker is that his name is Antonio…isn’t that an Italian name?
